17" alloys from my car to a transporter?

iv got a nice set of 17" alloys in the shed, good Tyre's that came off my old car. was wondering, could i fit them onto the transporter with the low profile Tyre's? i know the fitment is right just unsure on the profile of the Tyre's? cheers for any help
