Help me pick a paint color...?

ok- I have dark brown suede shades, white trim, and a caramel colored night stand that I'm thinking of just staining to a dark brown if nothing matches. I have white trim that I want to leave white. also, the knobs on the doors are stainless steal so....what color should I paint the wall? what goes with dark brown and stainless steal and possibly caramel color?
