Current body fat percent is 20, my goal is at least 15. For the exercise should I concentrate on cardio or weight-lifting? Would really appreciate advice on this matter. Thank you!

So about 4 months ago I bought the Proactive Acny Solution kit and yes it helped out but I'm not seeing a 100% clear face like it says. And about once a week I'm still getting random break outs. Yes, if you skate everyday you will get better. but mostly, it's in your desire and motivation that will make you better. if you're skating just because its "cool" and you are trying to get sponsored, you might get frustrated that its not happening and give up. don't get mad because you cant land a trick over the course of several days. I thought I skated alot, doing an hour to two hours a day, but jeremy rogers skated for 8 hours a day everyday, and that's pretty . You have to skate because you enjoy it, then over time it will get easier. For me, it took a year before i started landing 360 flips all the time. I mean i could land it every once a while, but it took a year to really grasp the whole concept and preciseness of the movements and momentum needed. its all about dedication, motivation, and the mentality to never give up regardless of what others say or think. Just be you, skate everyday, and learn. If you do that you will be fearless, and skate like a champ. Oh, and trick tip videos, those suck. I've been skating for 7 years and the best way to learn a trick is to teach yourself mostly. You can see how others position there feet and then mold it into your own way of doing the same trick. Because everyones foot size and board width/setup is different on those videos.

I have a lot of trouble at nap time, the thing that works best for me is making sure she is actually tired. If you have a lot going on right before bedtime she might gain more energy but through out the day we make sure she is always moving. Also, the night light and the baby projector might actually distract her from the sleeping. If you use it only keep one of it's features, either the lullaby or the images, too many and she may become overwhelmed. I babysit and 18 month old who would always remove her clothes when she woke up and pee on the sheets. Her parents tell her when they lay her down that if she keeps her clothes on she can have a treat, and she does now and when she gets up she runs to the pantry. Now I don't suggest using food to reinforce good behavior but that is one thing that can help.

Why are most urban Blacks so ethnocentric?

I live in Bridgeport, CT where the population is a pretty even mix of Blacks and Whites. However, I have to say that in 21 years of living in the city, I have never, not one single time, been next to anyone Black listening to Guns n Roses, or Metallica, or Linkin Park, or any rock/alternative/etc type band. Further, I have been in many of their homes and I always see Jet magazine, Essence, Ebony, XXL, etc. On tv 99.999% of the time is B.E.T which always makes me wonder why bother having other channels. And the few times the channel changes it's either to a basketball game, or one of the channels with Black programming like the CW. There are always things like incense and fake African type products like Leopard print blankets, etc. The food is almost always ethnic like fried chicken, collared greens, curried everything, etc. Their cars always have dark tints, and rims, and a subwoofer, even if it comes from Walmart and rattles the car. Their clothing style is completely different like hoodies, puffy jackets, camouflaged Yankees hats that are never seated right and always turned to the right or left on an angle. Their pants STILL never have a belt and are usually hanging down, a trend I thought was a trend but 20 years later it's still happening. What gives? Why separate themselves from everyone else?

How did capital punishment start?

You will probably have to go to the library (GASP!) and crack a few books (GASP!) about the history of the old West. It probably goes something like this: Someone robbed someone (bank, cattle rustling, etc.) and were too scared to go after them. But they were just brave enough to go into town and yell "Let's Get Them!" So a bunch of folks on horses (with whatever happened to be attached at the time, ropes etc.) took off and caught the bad guy (groups of people are MUCH braver than individuals). Being poor folk they didn't want to waste expensive bullets, or food & shelter (jail), or time & energy (transporting to jail), so someone generously donated a few feet of rope and the accused was hanged from a convenient tree. The body was strapped to it's own horse and lead to town. The horse and attached belongings (saddle, saddle-bags, etc.) were sold to pay for burial. Any excess money was kept by the town as windfall taxes, and helped to offset paying for law enforcement (Marshall's salary, rewards, etc.). The judicial system probably adopted hangings as a clean (no blood), inexpensive way to dish out capital punishment.

I copied and pasted a message in MS Word to edit it. The green lines appeared under a couple dozen words. I found that if I changed punctuation or a different word in the doent, that the line would disappear. In some cases even if I changed the word the green line would reappear under the new word.

i don't get the impression that her injuries are severe enough to knock her unconscious i suggest she just blacks-out from shock at whats happened its more appropriate to the situation in my head any way.if she wakes up alone its more striking and gut-wrenching and easier to empathize and if found by a random-er it presents an opportunity to introduce a new character already close to the mc's heart hence the reader's .they'll be grateful.i really thought you put a lot of effort in to this and i hope you get past the block i no it can be frustrating sometimes i find i get this when i concentrate too much on one story.i find reading can help it destracts me from my block and i tend to come up with better ideas then when my imagination's had a while to think about and explore other things.remember not to force the idea to work it just makes it harder and i've discovered can lead to the death of ideas that had such great beginnings.don't stress over the idea work on another scene for a bit if it helps and you have the idea or you could miss out on something great.

7 Month Old Has Been Congested For 3 months Help Please?

NFL playoff seedings?

Ok so with the nfl playoffs just around the corner there is something that is really bothering me with the seeding. I learned in the AFC west if the chargers win they will make the playoffs with an 8-8 record. Even if Denver wins they will make it in with a 9-7 record. That is so stupid because look at the AFC East. New England, Miami, and the NYJ all have winning records and all 3 of them have records much better than denver and san diego. Miami and New England are 10-5 and NY is 9-6. And 2 of those 3 teams are not going to make the playoffs and they would have better records that both Denver and San Diego. That just isn't fair and shouldn't happen. They work harder and have a better season yet they don't get in. If San Diego gets in with an 8-8 record i think that will just be an absolute disgrace to the NFL, They will probably be one of the worst team to ever make the playoffs! Neither the chargers or broncos should be in with they way they have played yet 1 of them will make it and 2 of the AFC East teams that should be in will be out. She started crawling at almost exactly 8 months of age and 4 days after that she started to pull herself up on everything, she is now almost 9 months old and can pull herself up very easily and is cruising along furniture, she can now stand quite steadily whilst holding on with one hand or leaning her tummy on the sofa whilst using her hands to explore objects. She has now also managed to figure out how to get down from her standing position without falling. Hi,I am overweight and I started a low carb diet four weeks ago.atkins diet.I am a type 1 diabetic and i was previously on 65 units a day but on this diet i am on 40 units a day and my blood sugars are much more stable.I have not eaten carbs in 4 weeks and i gained weight.I dont understand I thought lower insulin leve;s meant weight loss.i do think I could do more exercise.At present I am just doing a 30 minute walk every day.I expected to have lost some weight after the first two weeks..but no:( so I started eating 2 meals rather than 3 aday but still no results.The only reason I could see that i gained weight is I eat alot of cheese and nuts but I thought this was allowed on atkins.Should I just go back to carbs...(which will increase my insulin levels)

I'm a teen girl. Both my mom and my grandmother were anorexic but are better now. I'm worried that I will become anorexic too. Anyway, why didn't I get the flu this year? I have never gotten flu shots. I know the virus mutates but did I build up an immunity to the base of it?

I think the term is utilized of late for the sole purpose of compartmentalizing a sub group that doesn't exist here in America. Often you'll hear the term used as a sound bite to radicalize some venture unpopular with politicians that profess conservative, uh "values". Most people are both conservative and liberal in their belief system, as it's a direct result of their bearing in our essed culture. So, yes, I could agree that it is misused for political justification/rationalization.

you are not eating enough, even uming you're a tiny teenage girl who doesnt exercise at all. your body needs at least 1200 calories a day to perform basic bodily functions. and remember, the international starving line is considered 1600 calories a day or less. so you are essentially starving yourself. you are also depriving yourself of necessary vitamins and minerals. i can tell that you are trying to eat lots of fruits and vegetables, but when you only eat 800 calories a day there is no way you can get a sufficient supply of vitamins and minerals. you could take a vitamin, but there is no real evidence that your body absorbs a significant percentage of the pills. i would recommend increasing your caloric intake up to at least 1200 calories. anything less than 1200 calories for an extended period of time can actually cause brain damage. knowing the serious potential long term effects of eating less than 1600 calories from my schooling, i cant advise you to eat anything less than that. the starving line is at 1600 calories for a reason. if you are only planning on eating like this for a few weeks to lose a couple pounds then at least raise your daily calories 30-40 percent, eating under 1200 calories is dangerous and the extra pound you may lose isnt worth the risks.

Should I get the Martin 345 or 640 case for my DCX1E?

I recently bought a Martin DCX1E after my old guitar recently imploded on itself. I want to protect the guitar the best i can. I know the 345 is heavier but I have only seen that advertised as being specifically for the DCX1E and wanted to know if it would be safe to buy a 640 as it is a sturdy lighter case. So basically all i'm wondering is, will my DCX1E be able to fit as well in a 640 as a 345 or is it designed specifically for a different line of Martins? I am depressed and feel horrible ?

I am a 22 year old single mom of my three and a half year old daughter. And my whole life I have gone through a lot, I was physically and verbally abused by my dad. I was ually abused by my grandfather. I have been placed in group homes and foster homes during my teenage years. I became pregnant at age 18 after dating my boyfriend for 2 years. The day he found out I was pregnant, he walked out. I have been depressed ever since the birth of my daughter in June 2005. I was diagnosed with post partum depression but I was never treated for it. I suffer from anxiety which my doctor prescribed me clonazepam but I have anxiety just thinking of taking it so I haven't taken it. And I am so depressed. I am in pj's from like dinner time until like 9 the next morning. I am so tired and depressed. I can sleep atleast 10 - 12 hours a night. I have no appetite. And I called the clinic where my doctor works this morning and asked if I can have an appointment with him, and I can only see him February 4th so two and a half weeks before I can. I have already said it but I am afraid of taking anti-depressants and even my clonazepam for whatever reason. I am afraid of being judged or that he will get annoyed with me. I only saw him once for anxiety and I was in his office for over an hour and I just want to make sure we maintain a good doctor/patient relationshp and I don't want to annoy him with me feeling like crap and depressed. I just don't know what to do.
